Abide by terms
By making use of our organisation and its services you will be deemed to be aged 18 or over, and to have read and understood and agree to be bound by the order process and these terms and conditions. Where you are entering into an agreement on behalf of an organisation you confirm that you have the legal right to do so.
When using this website you shall not post or send to or from this website any material:
(i) for which you have not obtained all necessary consents;
(ii) that is discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, liable to incite racial hatred, in breach of confidentiality or privacy, which may cause annoyance or inconvenience to others, which encourages or constitutes conduct that would be deemed a criminal offence, give rise to a civil liability, or otherwise is contrary to the law in the United Kingdom;

As such, we do not guarantee that all incidents received are submitted to the police.
Placing an Order
When you place an order to purchase a product from PoliceWitness.com, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product, for which we thank you, and which is accepted by us when we send email confirmation to you that we have despatched that product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in our email confirmation to have been despatched do not form part of that contract.
For your protection, a contract will not be made if there is any legal reason why this is not possible e.g. attempted fraud, minimum age etc. Also, for your further protection, the information you provide will be subject to identity and fraud prevention checks.
Our prices are subject to change.
All goods and services are subject to availability.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If the goods you have ordered are not available from stock we will contact you by email within 7 days and you will have the option to either wait until the goods are available from stock or cancel your order in accordance with our Cancellation and Returns Policy.

Age of Consent
When placing an order you are declaring that you are the appropriate legal age to purchase the item and that the person accepting delivery of your order is aged 18 or over. If it is found that you are not legally entitled to order certain goods, we reserve the right to terminate all account facilities immediately, without notice, and we will not be obliged to complete the order. All deliveries will require a signature.
We aim to deliver your purchase within 7 working days from confirmation of acceptance of order subject to availability and unless otherwise stated by our customer service team. On delivery of your product please inspect the goods for damage and notify PoliceWitness.com within 2 days of delivery, should you find any. If no one is available to accept delivery when the carriers call, redelivery will be charged at the full amount.
On delivery of your product please inspect the goods for damage and notify PoliceWitness.com within 2 days of delivery.
Availability of Goods
All products offered are subject to availability. If the product you have ordered is not available from stock you will be contacted by email or telephone, if you have entered the relevant details, and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order. A comparable product may be substituted in the event of a product being unavailable, subject to customer agreement.
Third Party Goods
Whilst we take payment on behalf of a third party on certain goods offered in our shop, the goods will be despatched from the third parties warehouse, not our own. For these goods we do not manage the customer service side of the transaction and any queries about the product will be dealt with by the third party.
Prices and Payment
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. Delivery charge is not included in the price. Prices quoted are correct at time of entering information. We reserve the right to change prices and specification of any item on the web site at our discretion without prior notice or to withdraw any items at any time. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for withdrawing any items from the web site or refusing to process an order, however this will not affect any orders that have been accepted and therefore dispatched.
Payment can be made on the web site by Mastercard, Visa Credit Card and Delta Debit Card.
You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment.
Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period. The term ‘normal price’ is used to describe the retail selling price of a product.
What is a recurring transaction?
A Recurring Transaction (or “continuous payment authority”) is where you have provided a company with your Visa Debit or Credit card details and consented to them taking regular payments from your account.
This way of making payments is different from a Direct Debit or Standing Order as it is set up by you directly with the company concerned, without the involvement of your bank or building society. (It is not covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme)
Companies may request you to pay in this way where payments can be made by instalments, for example monthly or annually.
How can I cancel a recurring transaction?
To cancel your CPA you may contact your bank directly. Alternatively, you may ask us to cancel it by giving us notice in writing, using the postal address provided. Please be aware that, if you do cancel, you will still owe any outstanding debt and you will need to find an alternative method of payment on the Due Date to avoid going into default.
Cancellation and Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may cancel the contract or return your item(s) under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, within 7 working days from the date you received it for an exchange or refund. All monies including the delivery charge will be refunded if the goods are cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period, however the following points must be observed:
Items must be returned in an unused condition with the original packaging if possible. Please ensure that the product is well packed so it does not get damaged on its return journey. The receipt or other valid proof of purchase must be returned with the unused item(s).
Items are to be returned at your expense unless the item purchased was damaged or faulty when you received it.
All products are checked on return to our warehouse. In the event of the product being used, or an accessory missing, a full refund will not be processed.
To return the item, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number. We aim to respond to your email enquiry within 1 working day of receipt.
As we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods we recommend that you obtain proof of posting. Please note that all goods should be returned with the original packaging if possible along with a receipt or other valid proof of purchase.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
